Workshop on making spring arrangements on the eve of Easter

An interesting workshop was held on April 18th, in the ecological center. Children of IDPs and youth made spring arrangements: decoupage vases with beautiful spring flowers that are made from candies. The decoupage technique is to cut patterns from different materials (in our case – napkins) and stick them on the surface of these parts. The children used glass bottles and napkins with Easter themes. Each participant chose a pattern according to their taste and decorated the vase with it.

A harmonious addition to the vase was candy flowers, which young craftsmen made using candy, crepe paper, and sticks. Since now is April, the children chose spring flowers including saffron flowers, tulips, and other fabulous multi-colored ones, which fulfill the most secret desires! We are convinced that wonderful and loving arrangements will decorate the Easter table!

The event was held in cooperation with the Transcarpathian Regional Ecological and Naturalistic Center of Students Youth (TRENCSY) with the Institute of Ecological and Religious Studies – IERS (headed by Alexander Bokotey) with the support of the German Nature Conservation Union (NABU), and project coordinator Ivan Tymofeiev.
