On June 10th, the actors of the Transcarpathian Academic Regional Puppet Theater visited the preschool № 21 “Lastovichka” (swallow) of the General Development of the Uzhhorod City Council with the play “Bonjour, Katrusya!”
Before the performance, the puppeteers held a theatrical eco-quiz “GET TO KNOW NATURE” with the children. A life-size puppet – Ovechka Hanka (artist H. Lipchey) told the kids about the beautiful and wonderful world around us, unique endless forests and boundless seas, flooded rivers, and lakes, high mountains and green plains, wide steppes, and endless deserts, emphasizing that one had not only to admire nature but must protect it. Children were happy to guess the riddles on environmental issues and identified amazing unique animals that inhabit our planet in the pictures. Finally, the actors entertained the children with musical “warm-ups”.
The event was held as part of a series of creative actions launched in collaboration with along with the Institute of Ecological and Religious Studies- IERS (headed by Alexander Bokotey) and the German Nature Conservation Union (NABU Bundesverband NABU International ), project coordinator Ivan Tymofeiev.
