On April 8th, the interesting and amazing event was held under the leadership of Ms. Natalia Stetso, Headmaster of Velykoroztytsia Primary School and a leading IRCEF expert. The event took place in the parish of the Lord Ascension in the villages of Mala and Velyka Roztoka.
Participants had the opportunity to:
- create lap books for themselves, which managed to contain a lot of valuable and useful information on environmental protection issues;
- work with an interesting coloring book “How does Mariannochka behave in the forest? Rules of behavior in the forest”, (author Marta Mykhailets);
- get acquainted with the plants listed in the Red Book thanks to the Ecological Calendar of Nature Observations (author Olga Timofeieva).
Finally, the children learned a poem about the Earth. We sincerely believe that holding such events will leave a mark in the hearts and minds of children and strengthen the care for Creation – Nature.
The event was held in cooperation with the Institute of Ecological and Religious Studies (IERS) (headed by Alexander Bokotey) with the support of the German Nature Conservation Union (NABU Bundesverband, NABU International), project coordinator Ivan Tymofeiev.
