Fragrant herbal teas from medicinal plants began to grow on the territory of Synevyr NNP, not by chance. After all, only here, you can collect truly useful and healing gifts of nature where crystal clear mountainous water and air are purified by spruce trees.
Medicinal teas continue to be grown in the created place within the framework of the project “Preservation of Carpathian virgin forests”. The necessary spring works are being carried out here with the participation of employees of the Research Department. At the same time, the reconstruction has been improved and renovated, according to which the plantation is divided into sections, which are fenced with wooden boards. In cold weather, they can be covered with foil, thus saving the plants from death. According to the technology of cultivation, the seeds are sown in rows and it will be easy to weed and fertilize with organic fertilizers.
“Sown seeds need constant care because there are plants that are very vulnerable to our mountain climatic conditions,” says Yurij Tyukh, Deputy Director for Research & Development department. But is it worth mentioning that these herbs grown in the park are unique in their qualities? Undoubtedly, it is. Timely and properly organized collectings make them unique not just as a drink but as a healing elixir. Ready-made teas can be used for both illness prevention and treatment. What is cheap compared to synthetic drugs, it is easy to prepare at home, especially with the admixture of wild plants, in accordance with the developed methods of making tea.
