JANUARY
January 1 is International Peace Day

January 6 – Consecration of Cretaceous, Incense and Water on Feast of Epiphany (Roman Catholic Rite)

19 February – International Marine Mammal Protection Day (Whale Day)

April 1 – International Bird Day (Bird Meeting Day)

April 24 is World Day for the Protection of Laboratory Animals

May 22 is International Day for Biological Diversity

AUGUST

August 6 – Nuclear Weapons Action Day
