A round table of discussion the ecological story “Under the Owl’s Wing”

On March 28, a round table was held to discuss the ecological story “Under the Owl’s Wing”, prepared in the framework of the project “Responsibility for Creation and Women of the Carpathians”. The author of the publication is a talented writer Natalia Humen-Bilanych, and illustrations for the publication were prepared by Marta Mykhailets.

The ecological story will immerse the reader in reflections on the problems of communication between humans and the environment, will help to understand the crucial importance of a responsible attitude to nature, its wealth, given to mankind by God.

Consumption and environmental degradation are modern challenges that need to be fought with, avoided, and prevented. In the example of the original connection of a perceptive, caring forester with a forest bird – an owl, we see this struggle.

The book is for children of middle and high school age, as well as for all people of goodwill to be interested and reflect on the challenges of today and responsibility to God’s Creation.

The event was held within the framework of the project “Responsibility for the Creation and Women of the Carpathians”, implemented by the Interreligious and Environmental Civil Forum of Eastern Europe (IRCEF) in cooperation with environmental groups of the Churches with the support of the Archdiocese Bamberg, Würzburg and Renovabis (Organization of Assistance to Eastern Europe from the Catholic Church in Germany).
